1. Rough machining of the teeth of the spiral bevel gear blank

 

Turn the front and rear cones of the spiral bevel gear blank with a high-precision CNC lathe;

 

2. Rough milling

 

Use the spiral bevel gear milling machine to rough-mill the spiral bevel gear blank that has been processed, mesh colouring and control the length and height of the meshing surface, and reserve the machining allowance for the tooth thickness;

 

3. Let the knife tentacles be processed

 

After the rough machining of the teeth is completed, continue to process the tooth root of the spiral bevel gear blank on the spiral bevel gear milling machine so that the knife tentacles reach the finished product size;

4. Heat treatment

 

Perform carburizing and quenching heat treatment on the semi-finished spiral bevel gear; carburizing and quenching heat treatment include the following steps:

 

a. Cleaning treatment before entering the furnace

 

Immerse the heat-treated basket with the semi-finished spiral bevel gear in the cleaning pool to clean the spiral bevel gear and remove the residual dirt on the surface of the spiral bevel gear;

 

b. Carburizing treatment

 

Put the heat treatment baskets that have been cleaned before entering the furnace into the carburizing furnace as a whole, and control the temperature of the carburizing furnace to carry out the heating method of stepwise temperature rise and heat preservation;

 

c. Austempering treatment

 

Put the heat treatment basket that has completed the carburizing treatment into the cooling oil pool for austempering and cooling;

 

d. Cleaning treatment after quenching

 

Immerse the quenched heat-treated basket as a whole in the cleaning pool to clean the spiral bevel gear and remove the residual oil on the surface of the spiral bevel gear;

 

5. Grinding hole and outer circle

 

The ring gear is ground on the inner hole grinding machine to ensure that the runout of the ring gear is ≤0.05mm; the outer circle of the shaft teeth is ground on the outer grinding machine to ensure that the runout of the outer circle is ≤0.02mm;

 

6. Hard scraping tooth surface processing

 

Install the semi-finished spiral bevel gear that has finished the finishing of the installation shaft or the installation hole on the spiral bevel gear milling machine for milling and hardening of the tooth surface, retaining the amount of grinding;

 

7. Hard tooth surface grinding

 

Install the semi-finished spiral bevel gear with hard tooth surface milling on the bevel gear grinding machine to grind the tooth surface to the finished product size, improve the surface precision of the tooth surface and eliminate the meshing marks;

 

8. Finished product inspection
