01. Please adjust cutting conditions based on the rigidity of the machinery, the shape of the work holding fixture, and the geometry of the machining area.

 

02. when performing dry machining, implement air cooling measures to facilitate cooling and chip removal.

 

03. The high temperatures generated by chips and sparks from drill bit breakage can pose risks of burns and fires. Therefore, take fire prevention measures.

 

04. Wet machining refers to the process of using water-soluble cutting oil during machining.

 

05. Ensure an adequate supply of cutting oil to the machining point and drill edge.

 

06. This cutting parameter table is applicable for machining with a hole depth up to 3 times the drill diameter (3Dc).

 

07. For hole depths exceeding 3Dc, reduce the spindle speed and feed rate by 20%.

 

08. When hole depths exceed 3Dc, consider employing a stepped machining approach.

However, depending on the material being machined and the processing conditions, chip evacuation during cutting can sometimes deteriorate. In such cases, even if the hole depth is less than the specified limit, use stepped feed,

 

09. During the stepped feed, retract above the hole.

 

10. Set the approximate step size between 0.5 to 1 times the drill diameter (0.2 to 0.5 times for small diameters).

 

11. When clamping, ensure the drill bit’s vibration is controlled within 0.02mm.
